Winter Activities and Year Round Things To Do

Here’s what we'll be doing this December - April:
Twice monthly trips to local “once-in-a-lifetime” attractions, like:

  • Walking on the decks of a WWII battleship
  • Touring Bellingrath Gardens and Home (Snowbirds, how much snow will YOUR home be covered in as you stroll the internationally-recognized grounds in 51° weather?)
  • Deep sea fishing in the Gulf
  • Seeing the US Navy Blue Angels practice
  • Riding the tallest Ferris wheel east of the Mississippi at The Wharf
  • Eating fresh seafood plucked from the waters of the Gulf only hours before
  • Walking the beach and swimming in the warm Gulf waters in March/April.
  • Gambling trip to Biloxi, MS
  • Taking a dolphin cruise

In addition, depending on the season, we have:

  • Movie nights complete with popcorn and soda in our game room
  • Compete against your friends on our 2 Wii sets - bowling, golf, racing, many others...careful, this is addictive and your friends will ALL be there!
  • Craft projects and game nights in the game room, where many of your fellow travelers gather.
  • NASCAR Sundays
  • Ice cream socials
  • Mardi Gras celebration
  • Bocce ball tournaments
  • Horseshoe championships
